Some of the items JBS Home Inspections, Inc. assesses when performing a Home Inspection:

Exterior - siding, trim, soffits, paint, windows, doors, vents, decks, balconies, porches, grading, surface drainage, garage

Roof - covering, drainage system, flashing, roof penetrations (skylights, chimneys).

Structure - floor joists, wall studs, rafters, sheathing, foundation (all where visible)

Plumbing - water main, water distribution, fixtures, faucets, functional flow and drainage, venting, water heating system

Electrical - service drop, distribution panel, fuses or breakers, sub panels (where applicable), GFCI outlets (where applicable), amperage and voltage ratings

Heating - vents, flues, chimneys, fuel source, type of heat, heat source in each room

Air Conditioning - fuel source, compressor, coil unit

Insulation and Ventilation - combustion air, attic and foundation ventilation, insulation and vapor barriers (where visible)

Interior - walls, ceilings, paint, floors, stairways, doors, windows, fireplaces, cabinets
